簡介
Green Villa B&B is located in Hualien City, 2.4 km from Pine Garden. Free WiFi is covered throughout the setting.
Every room is fitted with a flat-screen TV. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. Every room comes with a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find slippers, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Green Villa B&B features free WiFi throughout the property.
To explore the area, you may avail of free bike rental service (limited bikes). Alternatively, a one-day trip accompanied with a local guide and a driver sounds nice. Other outdoor activities can be arranged, including whale watching, paragliding, river trekking, firefly watching, shrimp catching and boating. Extras include ticketing and free self-serviced laundry.
Free breakfast is offered each morning. For your convenience, vegetarian dishes can be arranged for guests in need.

因應人口高齡化，交通部公路總局今（31）日宣布，4月1日起放寬小型車職業駕駛年齡，從68歲放寬到70歲，除須進行體檢外，還新增認知檢測，預估會有2200人受惠。
公路總局指出，自99年12月起實施逾65歲小型車職業駕駛人，經過體檢及反應等檢測，經醫生評估許可，每年可換發職業駕駛執照至68歲，由於考量人口勞齡化，經過長期評估及擬定管理措施，交通部昨天發布相關修改規則，明天起，職業小型車駕駛年齡上限延長至70歲。
公路總局表示，統計分析發現，超過65歲小型車職業駕駛，並未有較高事故的風險，因此提案放寬年齡上限，但逾68歲小型車職業駕駛，須經過體檢、認知功能測驗外，若肇事致人受傷，須重新體檢及失智症檢查等。
另外，4月1日前屆滿68歲未滿70歲小型車職業駕駛，因屆齡換領普通駕照者，可持相關文件至監理單位辦理，煥發有效期限一年的小型車職業駕照。

據英國《每日郵報》9月17日報導，現年47歲的美國女子克麗絲·沃爾頓(Chris Walton)在繼2012年之後，再次以其總長20英尺(約6.1公尺)有餘的指甲成為金氏『世界最長指甲』記錄保持者。
據光明網報導，當地時間9月10日，克麗絲在倫敦《2014年金氏世界記錄》新書發布會上展示了她『張牙舞爪』的金黃色指甲，並繼續保持『世界最長指甲』頭銜。據稱，該女子從1993開始留指甲，至今已精心養護了20年。她不僅將指甲染成了耀眼奪目的金色，更透過塗抹丙烯酸來對其進行加固。雖然在常人眼中，她的指甲非常脆弱，但克麗絲稱，除了之前修理汽車發動機時折斷一個指甲外，她在日常生活並不需要別人的幫助，洗衣、做飯、開車、彈鋼琴、打高爾夫樣樣在行。
作為一個歌手，克麗絲從14歲就開始歌唱生涯，如今已在美國內華達和加利福尼亞州頗有名氣。她也表示希望人們在關注她指甲的同時，更多地關注她的音樂。
